Austin Founder Lions Club
Austin Founder Lions are planning a visit to THE camp! That’s the Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville where we will experience a Friday night awards/graduation ceremony. Past attendees report that it is poignant experience which solidifies why you became a Lion. AFLC invites Lions in the area to join the group on Friday, June 24.
Here’s the plan:
Meet at the Y in Oak Hill (Jim’s Restaurant parking area) and the bus will depart at (updated time) 2:00 p.m. sharp on Friday, June 24. Upon arrival at the camp, we will have a tour and see campers involved in various activities. You also can visit the gift shop and headquarters to see the tremendous support Texas Lions have for the camp. We will have a quick dinner (Dutch treat) at Mamacita's Mexican Restaurant. We need to be back at the camp and seated by 7 p.m. Upon conclusion of the ceremony, we will return to Austin via bus, arriving back at approximately 11:15 p.m.
