Mike's Place
Suellen Mills and Marjorie Murphey Camacho

introduction by Lion Mac Ragsdale

Mike’s Place, a program for folks with Alzheimer’s Disease and other types of memory loss and dementia, also serves as a source of support and rest for caregivers. The time together provides each individual an opportunity to be social and have fun, while being occupied with stimulating and appropriate activities in a warm, safe, and caring environment. At the same time, caregivers may be ensured a bit of free time to relax.
