Mike HeiligensteinSpeakers Bio: Mike Heiligenstein is the Executive Director of the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority, an independent government agency created in 2002 to design a modern, regional transportation network for Central Texas. The Mobility Authority's current and future projects are key elements in a carefully planned, multi-modal transportation system designed to meet the diverse mobility needs of this fast-growing region. Mike has been with the Mobility Authority since its inception and has overseen the development the Mobility Authority's first project, the 183A toll road in Williamson County, one of the first toll roads in the country to convert to all-electronic toll collection. 

The Mobility Authority recently broke ground on two new projects, a 5-mile extension of the 183A toll road and phase 1 of the Manor Expressway, a 6.2-mile limited-access road in Travis County. Both projects are scheduled to open to traffic in 2012. 

A University of Texas Alum, Mike Heiligenstein earned a Bachelor and Master of Government and a Master of Business Administration. 

Before taking the helm at the Mobility Authority, Mike served the citizens of Williamson County and the City of Round Rock as County Commissioner and City Councilman. During his 23 years of public service, he initiated and helped supervise over $500 million in capital improvement projects.






Featured Lunch Menu: Beef and Mushroom stew, couscous pilaf and string beans with red peppers; mixed field green salad with assorted rolls and a featured daily dessert. Vegetarian meal or Grilled Chicken Caesar salad are available alternatives as well.

Please register by noon on Wednesday.

We order meals based on your reservations and must pay for them even if you do not show up. Please keep this in mind if your plans shift and cancel your reservation so we can adjust the headcount.
