About our Speaker: 

Nahid Khataw is a Business Development Specialist at Encotech Engineering Consultants, Inc. Beyond her professional pursuits, she exemplifies a profound dedication to humanitarian causes. Nahid is currently the President of the Ronald McDonald House Central Texas. From 2015 to 2025, she held a significant role on the board of the Austin Chapter of the American Red Cross and chaired it for 2 years. Her passion for "Humanity First!" is evident in her active involvement with various non-profits, including the Asian Family Support Services of Austin, Interfaith Action of Central Texas, and the Asian Community Education Foundation.

Nahid is the graduate of the Leadership Austin Class of 2010 and brings a wealth of leadership experience to the non-profit sector. Her commitment to serving the underserved is not merely a professional stance but a deeply personal character reflected in her heartfelt approach to leadership. Nahid resides in Austin, Texas, with her husband, Ali Khataw, and takes immense pride in her role as a mother and grandmother, embodying the values of compassion and community engagement in her professional and personal life.
