Austin Clubhouse is a supportive community for adults living with serious and persistent mental illness. Austin Clubhouse is a non-clinical mental health organization that focuses on a person’s strengths, talents and abilities. Rather than providing therapy, the Clubhouse provides opportunity for adults living with a mental health diagnosis. The Clubhouse Model is a 70-year old, SAMHSA evidence-based psychosocial rehabilitation model, originating in New York City, now with over 350 Clubhouses in more than 30 countries around the world. Austin Clubhouse is an accredited member of this international community.
