WE'RE MEETING AT MUNY!
Lions Municipal Golf Course
2901 Enfield Road, Austin TX 78703

Thomas C. Henderson
Huston-Tillotson University Athletic Director
Introduced by Lion Tom McConnell

The mission of the Let Them Play docuseries is to educate and inform the public about important stories about social justice, but, like the mission of the AFLC, it is also about having an impact. Changing the paradigm of access, opportunity and affordability to the game, impacting underserved children and young adults and their communities by education the public about the history of the integration of golf, by sharing the importance of public golf facilities to those communities, and sharing the important issues surrounding class, caste, and economics that to this day still affect children and young adults and their dreams of learning the game, becoming professional golfers or working in the business of golf. As a part of our collective mission, the team here at Let Them Play and Lions Tommy Cowan and Alan Ford at the AFLC are assisting Huston-Tillotson in reviving the HT Golf Team. Athletic Director Thomas C. Henderson will be giving a presentation of the new golf team and what we can all do to support and participate in its success.
