Introducing the Waymo Driver to Austin

Autonomous technology is not new to Austin. With over 14 years of autonomous driving experience, Waymo is excited to return to Austin to safely map and prepare for ride-hailing services. Before we offer those services, we want to work with community members like you to inform you about our history, technology, and eventual service in Austin. Join Brittany Heckard with Waymo's public affairs team to learn, converse, and collaborate on how we're making sure everyone is getting to their destination safely -- in and outside of our vehicle!

About our Speaker:

Brittany Heckard is a communications and public policy consultant with over 8 years of experience working with state legislators, nonprofits, internet service providers, and technology companies. Originally from Oklahoma, Brittany has always been passionate about community engagement and service. When she's not working, you can find her volunteering, writing, or playing with her pup, Kingston.
