STFR

The Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo (STFR) story of preserving western heritage began in 1938. Over the years, STFR has grown from a Show featuring 16 animals into one of Austin’s premier events, featuring ProRodeo events, daily Concerts, Livestock Show and more. In addition, our Scholarship Program created in 1983 has impacted the lives of hundreds of Texas youth, donating millions of dollars to their education.

Last year STFR gave away $1.9 million in scholarships to higher education students.

They are celebrating their 75th anniversary this year.

Guests:

Joel Anderson - Ambassador at Rodeo Austin

Lance Britton - #1 World Greatest Bull Rider

Tanya Roberts - Miss Rodeo Austin
