Visit Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired

Bill Daugherty, Superintendent of TSBVI

Introduction by Lion Patti Robinson

Please join us at Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (TSBVI) in their cafeteria for lunch and a tour. Sit with the LEOs and enjoy a hot plate of food or a trip through their awesome salad bar.

Lunch will be followed by a short Presentation by the Superintendent, Bill Daugherty who will speak to us about the past and future of the School, and we will also have a presentation by Lisa Ballesteros from the National Kidney Foundation.

The presentations will be followed by a tour of the TSBVI campus with their Community Coordinator, Gloria Bennett & Operations Director, John Daude. There will be some cart transportation for individuals that have a low tolerance for walking the 35 or 40 acres of campus (actually we will not tour to far). This will be an extended meeting, ending at 1:30pm. Please make plans to stay and enjoy the progress of the school.
