Join your fellow Austin Founder Lions for an in-person meeting on June 24, 2021, in the Moton Crockett Room at Rudy’s BBQ on North Lamar, across from Central Market. PDG J.P. Kirksey will conduct the installation ceremony for the 2021-2022 officers and board members.
President Rudy Munguia will update the club on the 2020-2021 year, and present awards. Incoming President Glenda Summers will outline her vision for the upcoming Lions year.
Starting at 11:45 a.m., a BBQ buffet, consisting of choice of meats (brisket, pork ribs, smoked turkey breast, sausage), choice of sides (beans, potato salad, coleslaw), drinks (water or unsweetened ice tea), and a dessert (banana pudding) will be available in the Crockett Room. Cost of the lunch is $14.00 per person. Please register online anytime before noon on Tuesday June 22. You can pay online or at the meeting, but it is much preferred that you pay online to reduce handling of cash. The actual meeting will begin at noon, and conclude by 1 p.m.
