White Cane Day

Dear Lions,

Please help us make White Cane day a safe and fun experience.  If you would like to volunteer, meet Patti in the front of the Main bldg. on Wednesday, October 17^th at 8:30AM for street crossing assignments.  The walk should only take about 30 or 45 mins. When everyone is safely on the school grounds you can stay and enjoy the festivities on the lawn behind the main bldg., or head back to your usual life after we take a picture.  Lunch for Volunteers will be in the cafeteria. And I have a table reserved to wash eyeglasses/sunglasses for people and send them away with a microfiber cloth & Lens cleaner.  This might also be a good place to give out Texas Lions Camp brochures. The South Austin LEO Club will join in the fun by walking with students and helping with games such as the bounce house, hamster ball, rock wall and delivering water.
