Living in an Environmental City

Dr. Scott Swearingen, Jr. teaches Environmental Science and Policy, Urban Sociology and Environmental Sociology at St. Edward's University.

An Austin native, he has been involved in various local neighborhood and environmental causes for two decades. His latest book, Environmental City, chronicles the rise of the modern environmental movement as a force in local politics and Austin's growth.
