EDUCATION & LEADERSHIP SOLUTIONS FOR OUR TIMES

A veteran educational leader shares practical solutions to school woes, and the hallmarks of courageous leadership.

“The next Einstein, Picasso, Gates, Gandhi, and Zuckerberg are already in our classrooms and workforce. The solutions to the needs of a hurting and needy world lie in their minds, hands and hearts.” - Esther Miranda

Dr. Esther Miranda is a veteran educator and leader with over 30 years experience in the fields of Public Relations & Marketing (Chennai) & Educational Leadership (Texas, USA). She is the founder of Miranda Consulting and is a Consultant and Trainer.

Following an exhilarating and highly successful international career in Public Relations, Marketing, and Sales, traveling extensively overseas and working with diverse groups, Dr. Miranda passionately led comprehensive school improvement efforts, trained teachers, empowered parents to be engaged in student learning, and began a school wide enrichment program that resulted in the highest levels of student achievement, enrollment, retention, standardized test scores, and community engagement. In recent years she has served as leader at St. Joseph Catholic School, Bryan, TX, St. Anthony Catholic School, San Antonio, TX, and at Buckingham Browne & Nichols School in Cambridge, MA.

In this presentation, Esther makes a compelling case for why school administrators, teachers, parents, and the local community are key players engaged in the important task of preparing ALL students for the demands of the 21st century global workforce, and why EVERYONE MUST CARE! She describes what courageous leadership looks like, how successful teams collaborate, and shares strategies that she believes not only elevate leadership, organizational stature, and service, but also nurture, inspire, and empower our next generation of mindful leaders. These are the creative, inspirational, risk takers; the problem-solvers and game-changers that ultimately WILL make THE difference for our world.

Esther received her Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and a Masters in Social Work (specializing in Human Resource Management), from the University of Madras (India), and a Doctorate in Educational Psychology (specializing in Gifted Education, Creativity, and Intelligence) from Texas A&M University. She is a Certified Time to Teach™ Associate Trainer, and a 7 Mindsets™ Ambassador-at-Large.
