District Governor Gayle Teggeman Collins

Austin Founder Lions are meeting in-person on Thursday, Oct. 14 at Rudy’s BBQ! Our special guest will be 2021-22 District Governor Gayle Teggeman Collins. A member of the Taylor Lions Club, Governor Gayle has a long history of involvement in Lions Clubs International. Come hear her story! In her official visit to the club, Gayle will focus on her goals for the 2021-2022 year, which include:

1. Support the NAMI Objectives for increased service and membership in the District.
   • Create New Clubs
   • Support Clubs with Member Growth and Retention Initiatives
   • Membership Motivation through exciting Fellowship and Service with Proper Reporting
2. Support and Promote LCIF Campaign 100.
3. Support and Promote Leadership Training Initiatives in the District

Starting at 11:45 a.m., a BBQ buffet, consisting of choice of meats (brisket, pork ribs, smoked turkey breast, sausage), choice of sides (beans, potato salad, coleslaw), drinks (water or unsweetened ice tea), and a dessert (banana pudding) will be available in the Crockett Room. Cost of the lunch is $14.00 per person. Please register online before noon on Tuesday, Oct. 12. You can pay online or at the meeting, but it is much preferred that you pay online to reduce handling of cash. The actual meeting will begin at noon, and conclude by 1 p.m.
