Mike Fisher

Bastrop Fire Emergency

Introduction by Lion Alan Ford

Mike FisherSpeaker's Bio: Mike Fisher is a former Fire Fighter and the Coordinator for the Emergency Management, Safety and Wireless Communications in Bastrop County. After the Wild Fires he's in charge of the county's recovery plan to make sure Bastrop not only rebounds but moves forward. Fisher is no stranger to this work, in 2006 he retired as director of water and wastewater and emergency coordinator from the city of Bastrop, where he spent 20 years, and 4 months later he was asked to sign on as emergency management coordinator for the county. So much for retirement!

Featured Lunch Menu: Chicken Picatta w/ mixed green vegetables and roasted potatoes; mixed green salad with assorted rolls and a featured daily dessert. Vegetarian meal or Grilled Chicken Caesar salad are available alternatives as well.
