About our Speaker:

Trisha Locke is a Clinical Research professional with 20+ years of experience and expertise in pharmaceutical & device research. As a consultant and president of T. Locke Consulting, she has managed over 40 clinical trials, building and managing skilled, efficient and highly effective teams, to bring novel drugs to market.

Ms. Locke has experience in numerous therapeutic areas including women’s health, cardiology, pulmonary hypertension, CNS, pain, arthritis, GI, pediatric and ophthalmology with some of the largest and many small pharma companies including, Alcon, Bayer, Pfizer, Astra-Zenaca, Salix, Bausch & Lomb, Novartis and J&J, just to name a few.

In November 2019, Trisha switched sides in the industry and purchased a clinical research site.

Trisha now heads up Keystone Research, a well-established, high-volume ophthalmology research site. The company runs ophthalmology trials, with many different sponsors in glaucoma, dry eye, macular degeneration, diabetic macular edema, proliferative diabetic retinopathy, and cataract studies for both IOLs implants and post-operative pain.

Trisha will be giving us an overview of the current trends in clinical research, specifically as it relates to the field of ophthalmology, and it’s importance in today’s world.
