Fall New Member Orientation

Want to find out what your Lions Club does and how best you can jump in and help? Come join us for breakfast tacos, conversation, and fellowship (and oh, yeah, pizza too for lunch) and get your questions answered.

Here's a preview of some of the things we'll be learning:

• The founding story of Lionism and all about Lions club founder Melvin Jones - his story and vision about the club
• The projects International Lions align with - sight preservation, leadership, youth programs, diabetes prevention, literacy and community enrichment
• The impact of Lionism worldwide (it's what your dues go toward supporting!)
  
• The history of our club, the Founder Club - its story, its community achievements, and its future focus here in Austin
  
• The local club activities - scholarship, fund raising, and service projects and the work we do together to support our community
• How you can get actively involved with serving the community through your local club (prepare to get a committee assignment - we need your hands involved now!)
  

All members welcome - if you've never been to an orientation or would like a refresher on the history and mission of Lionism, you are invited to register and attend.

Breakfast tacos and lunch will be provided, so we will need an accurate headcount - please register no later than Thursday, December 1st, if possible.

You are welcome to come even if you do not preregister, as we'd rather have you there than not.
