Bats are one of the most diverse groups of mammals on the planet. Part of what makes them fascinating is their diversity, but also how important they are to ecosystems all over the world. Come learn more about what makes these amazing animals the rock stars of the night!

About our speaker:
Dr. Amanda Adams has been working with bats for 17 years, having traveled to every continent except for Antarctica to work with bats. She completed her BSc & MSc at the University of California, San Diego, PhD at Western University in Canada, and postdoctoral research in Israel and Texas. She now teaches at Texas A&M University and is the Conservation Research Program Manager for Bat Conservation International. Her research focuses on bat echolocation, behavior, ecology, and conservation
