Please join us to learn about the planned and proposed Travis County development plans and programs for the coming year. You are invited to bring your opinions and questions and we welcome guests as well.

Speaker's Bio:

Karen Huber Travis County Commissioner Precinct 3Commissioner Karen Huber represents Precinct 3 on the Travis County Commissioners Court.

The population of Precinct 3 is about 310,000 and it encompasses 48% of the geographic area of the county -- which is roughly the western half of the county and 500 square miles.

Commissioner Huber is a native Texan, has an undergraduate degree from UT and a masters in international business from the University of North Texas.

Her professional experience includes real estate development, economic development and management consulting to water, wastewater and electric utilities.

She has lived in southwestern Travis County for 16 years and been active in growth related issues, especially water issues throughout that time.
