THE LONGHORN LIONS
ARE A SERIOUSLY
BIG ROAR
April 27, 2017
Introduced by Lion Terry Heller
Come meet UT Lion President Amy Dang
and the 2017-2018 UT Lion President Tina Nguyen
as they show and tell what the Lions Club at The University of Texas has accomplished this year. In fact, what they do every week is almost guaranteed to be more than what most Lions Clubs do in a year. The UT Lions Club was sponsored by the ADFLC in 2012 and has today become the foremost service and social club on the UT Austin campus with almost 400 active Club participants, members and alumni.
Amy Dang is the current president of the UT Club. She is a junior majoring in supply chain management and pursuing a certificate in business and public policy. Before becoming president, she was a service chair when she joined Lions in 2015. After graduation, she plans on working full time and attending law school in the future. Fun fact: She's trilingual!
Tina Nguyen
is next year's president. She is a sophomore majoring in Honors of Advanced Human Development and Family Science and working towards a Business in Healthcare Certificate. She is planning to attend medical school to pursue a career in pediatrics and hopefully participate in Doctors without Borders. Prior to being elected president she was the membership chair for almost two years. Fun fact: She was born in Vietnam.
Prepare to be amazed by these two leaders and the
2016-17 UT Lion story they are coming to tell.
