While the rest of the country will be celebrating Dead Presidents Day during the third week of February, the Founder Lions of Austin will be recognizing our Living Past President Heroes who have "Served" to build the Oldest (and Best) Lions Club in the world.
On the Austin Founder Lions Presidents Day, Thursday, February 16th, each Past President will be recognized by the Presider for a one- minute recollection of some memorable event from their year, real or imagined. It's THEIR story. We'll take whatever they come up with ... ably prodded or abetted by the Master Interlocutor, depending on his exalted whim.
This is a probably a once in a lifetime event —that is, for most who have attended at least one — and is not to be missed. Come for the memories and the hilarity, and also take in some of the best of Austin Founder history as told by its past presidents.
