Disintegration of the Middle East: Challenges and Dilemmas for U.S. Policy
Please join the Austin Founder Lions Club for a public conversation on international affairs focusing on the current situation in the Middle East in a broad, historical context. Following a presentation by Professor Eytan Gilboa, chair and academic director of the Israel Public Diplomacy Forum, audience members will participate in a conversation about the challenges in the Middle East and how those affect U.S. leadership and diplomacy. The public is invited to attend.
The public is invited to attend this event free of charge, but donations of used eyeglasses are always appreciated and online reservation is necessary to ensure a seat. A buffet is also provided for $20, with priority seating reserved for lunch guests; online luncheon reservations and payment required by 5 p.m., Tuesday Sept. 13th Wednesday Sept 14th.

The Israel Public Diplomacy Forum, a non-profit, non-partisan educational organization, was established to advance international understanding of Israel and the Middle East.
The purpose of IPD Forum events is not to advocate a particular position, but rather to explain the issues, address questions and enhance understanding. In Texas, IPD events have been hosted by various groups including the World Affairs Councils of Greater Houston and San Antonio, and Texas Women in Business.
