STEP #1

ASK YOURSELF - AM I ALREADY A LION?

Lions are groups of service-minded men and women who are interested in improving their communities.  We're meeting to plan  local projects. We're sponsoring international exchanges for young people. We're bringing clean drinking water to a remote village. We're providing scholarships.

Lions are building, sharing and repairing in the Austin community.

 As a Lion, you will:
  • Help your community and gain valuable skills
  • Make an impact on people's lives both locally and internationally
  • Learn to be a leader and lead a respected organization
  • Network with business people in your community and around the world
  • Energize your life and have fun

STEP #2

 MEET  US FOR LUNCH SO WE CAN GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER

Come join us for lunch and hear an interesting talk about events in the Austin community. 

Come by yourself or with your sponsor; you are always welcome and your first lunch is on the club.  Go to the Calendar  menu tab and register for the next lunch meeting as a first-time guest.

Our 'Immediate Past President' is our official greeter and will meet you at the door. Identify yourself as a guest and you will be introduced to the club. 

Come to a few talks and get to know us and our activities.  If we fit together, you can fill out the International Lions Club Application at the bottom of step #3 and become a Lion.
STEP #3

SUBMIT A MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION

The last step is to complete the LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP from the link below.

Download the application to your computer and complete the form on your computer.  Remember to save the completed file and then print a copy to give to the club Secretary or to your sponsor along with your registration fee at a lunch meeting.

Our club dues are $300/year and payable at $75/quarter.  There is a one time registration fee of $35 to be turned in with your application.  After your application is approval by the Board of Directors, you will  receive a prorated invoice for your initial quarter of membership.

After induction as a Lion, your application file with all your information will be sent to our Web Master so he can establish you in our database and send you a password for the Members Only area of this web site.
